ASCE 2019 Interuniversity Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition

The American Society Of Civil Engineers (ASCE) - Lebanon section is hosting the Interuniversity Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition, a national competition organized in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering at LAU. Universities from all over Lebanon with a civil engineering program are invited (three teams each) to compete in building a small and light wood bridge from popsicle sticks that can carry the large loads. The event will gather around 250 civil engineering students from 10 different universities.

8:00 – 8:40 Registration, Qualifications, and Booth Set Up with Posters and Bridges 

8:00 – 12:00 Grading Posters, Team Souvenir Photo Shoot, and Social Time 

12:00 – 12:15 Opening Ceremony
