Lecture Recital by Jihad Akl

The Department of Communication Arts is hosting a lecture recital by Jihad Akl, violinist and composer.

The internationally acclaimed Jihad Akl is one of the most renowned Middle Eastern violinists, owing everything he is today to his father.

Jihad Akl will perform and discuss the violin and its history as well as forms used in Middle Eastern music.
