Making LAU and Lebanon Accessible: Challenges and Opportunities for People Living with Disabilities

The Department of Communication Arts and the Department of Social Sciences are organizing a panel discussion on efforts to make LAU and Lebanon more accessible and inclusive of people living with disabilities.

Topics will include accessiblizing LAU campus and curriculum as well as the disability tourism field. Speakers will also present two short films related to the subject.

This event aims to raise awareness on the rights of people with disabilities in Lebanon to ensure their integration in the society and they have equal opportunities.

Gretchen King - Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication Arts at LAU
