In this workshop, which falls under the Professional Development Series, students will learn how to prepare a professional resume and which common mistakes to avoid. 

Presenter:

Lama Makkouk, Business Manager at Forefront, has been in the Recruitment industry for almost 15 years, starting off in Australia covering the Asia Pacific Region and since 2010 she has been based in Beirut, covering the GCC, North Africa and Europe. She assumed consultancy roles in Sydney, Australia and the role of Group Recruitment Manager at Azadea for 6 years one of the leader retailers in the region. Currently she heads Forefront, a premier recruitment agency serving clients across multiple industries. She has seen profiles and interviewed people from all walks of life and is an expert in Competency Based Interviews and coaching people on how to effectively showcase their skills to future employers. She has a Bachelor of Psychology from AUB (‘04), a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Macquarie University (‘05 ), a Master of Industrial Relations & Human Resources Management from the University of Sydney (‘06) and most recently is SHRM-SCP certified (‘18).
