Deal of the Century: Media Narratives and Counter Narratives

After Trump recently announced the terms of the “Deal of the Century”, how do we analyze and dismantle the deal’s narrative in Western and Arab press coverage? How can media platforms be used to resist the “deal” and produce a counter narrative?
The “Rally Against Apartheid: Resisting Occupation in Cyberspace” initiative of the Institute for Media Research and Training at LAU is organizing a panel discussion on the topic, which will feature journalists and media activists: Dr. Rania Masri, Zaher Abo Hamda, Abed Al Rahman Nassar, and Bashar Lakkis.
