While the health impacts of COVID-19 have been well documented, the shutdown of the global economies have also positively affected our natural environment. 

In this webinar, Dr. Christian Khalil, assistant professor of environmental toxicology at the Department of Natural Sciences – School of Arts and Sciences, will discuss the positive environmental impacts arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. He will focus on air pollution worldwide and in Lebanon, and will correlate air pollution to cancer rates.
