Amidst this pandemic and the local and international economical crisis, staying informed about the Novel Coronavirus and its clinical impact is mandatory. During this webinar, we will summarize what we know at this point in time and try to understand how it will unveil in the future to be prepared and try to minimize losses by collaborating together. 

Presenter:

Dr. Rola Husni Samaha is a Clinical Professor and the head of the Infectious Diseases division at the LAU Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine. She is also the head of Infection Control at the LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital.

Dr. Husni Samaha returned to Lebanon after several years of specialization and practice in the USA. After she received her M.D. degree from AUB, she moved to Ohio State to complete her residency and specialize in Infectious Diseases at the Cleveland Clinics. Later, she did her subspecialty in Infections in Cancer Patients at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She worked there for two years before moving back to Lebanon where she was elected as the President of the Lebanese Society of Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Husni is very active academically in her field. She has many publications in peer reviewed journals and she is a reference in the field and this is reflected through her being invited as a speaker in regional infectious diseases meetings and conferences. 
 
Dr. Husni’s main aim is to serve her patients and community with absolute dedication to her career.
