Presenter
Michael is a National Manager in PwC Canada where he leads the Western Canadian Market in Public Safety. Michael’s journey began at the Lebanese American University (LAU) where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science / International Affairs with distinction and received the “Riyad Nassar Leadership Award”. He then completed a Master’s degree in International Relations at the London School of Economics (LSE) where he graduated with Merit.
Michael joined the consulting world in 2014 where he started as a Consultant in the Government and Public Sector practice at PwC in the UAE. He moved up the ladder very quickly and was promoted to Manager in just 4 years. Michael currently resides in Vancouver and leads the public safety practice in the Western Canada market. Michael’s niche expertise is in policing and public safety; he holds a visiting professional fellowship in policing at the University of Derby in the UK and has co-authored and published a thought leadership on road safety strategy entitled “A Guide for Policy Makers: On Reducing Road Fatalities”.
