International Women’s Day (IWD) is Women Techmakers’ largest annual event in which support is highlighted for the mission of building a world where all women thrive in tech. This year, Women Techmakers, Google Developer Groups - Coast Lebanon and IEEE Women in Engineering - Lebanon invite you to celebrate International Women’s Day 2023 in a full-day event hosted by the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics. The event will feature inspiring female speakers who are experts in fields ranging from data science and communication systems to tech critical skills. An entrepreneurship panel discussion will be held featuring inspiring Lebanese women entrepreneurs in addition to a workshop on the Google initiative #IAmRemarkable. Whether you are a student, professional or entrepreneur, you’ll find something to inspire and empower you at this year’s IWD.
