This seminar focuses on a study which examined whether training students in peer feedback (PF) and essay revision improved their content and organization in new essays and achieved writing autonomy. Comparison of students’ results on the pretest and post-tests revealed significant improvement in their writing content at the immediate and delayed post-tests. Moreover, comparison of questionnaire responses before and after the PF intervention showed significant improvement in students’ confidence and independence. Teacher interviews revealed that they had noticed improvement in students’ writing and attributed it to PF, teacher instruction and practice writing.
