The School of Arts and Sciences invites you to the symposium and the closing ceremony of the Teacher Development Program for the Armenian Schools in Lebanon.

About the Conference

This occasion marks the symposium and closing ceremony of the Teacher Development Program for Armenian Schools in Lebanon, a program that spanned from November 2021 to September 2023 at the Lebanese American University. During this event, participants will  engage with presentations on topics related to teacher professional development, teachers’ specific development requirements, prevailing norms and practices, policies and procedures about professional development. Additionally, there will be a panel discussion focusing on continuous professional development featuring representatives from the LAU community, the Gulbenkian Foundation, Mohamad Zeidan Academy for Training and Development and the International College.

Also during the symposium, participants will attend a presentation on the manual of the project, including the participant teachers’ action research projects and sample lesson plans, followed by a presentation of the certificates.
