Dietetics White Coat Ceremony

The ceremony serves as a formal initiation for nutrition students as they enter the field of dietetics.

In addition to their academic studies at LAU, nutrition graduates must complete a dietetic internship to qualify as licensed dietitians. This internship exposes students to real-world experiences in three specific areas: clinical nutrition, food service management and community nutrition.

The Dietetics White Coat Ceremony symbolizes the shift from theoretical learning to hands-on practice and marks the commencement of their clinical education where patients and clients play a pivotal role in their learning journey.
