The English Program in the Department of Communication, Arts and Languages cordially invites you to participate in the 12th Annual Creative Writing Competition (CWC). This year’s theme calls for contributions that reflect, through first-person writing, students’ and alumni’s encounters with diversity and inclusion at LAU, and suggest ways the university can become more inclusive and diverse.

 

Open to all currently registered LAU students, including undergraduates and graduates, as well as LAU alumni, participants are encouraged to submit personal essays (1,000 words) reflecting on ways LAU can enhance its inclusivity and diversity as it celebrates its 100th anniversary. Through these narratives, students and alumni can use this platform to explore their experiences and contribute ideas for a more inclusive future for the LAU Community.

 

Winners will receive monetary prizes.
