It Is Okay Not to Be Okay: The Importance of Mental Health Awareness

LAU Byblos Campus - Fountain Area

The Department of Liberal Studies at the School of Arts and Sciences is holding a wellbeing campaign to normalize conversations around mental health, reduce stigma, and encourage students to seek help when facing mental health challenges.

Students should not have to suffer in silence. Support is available, and reaching out for help is essential for staying mentally healthy and at the top of your game. Ultimately, this initiative hopes to help foster a compassionate campus culture where every student feels safe, understood and empowered to prioritize their mental health.

Through targeted activities and awareness initiatives, the department aims to help students recognize that mental health struggles are both common and manageable.
