Jawdat Haydar Day 2025

The Department of English and Creative Arts at the School of Arts and Sciences and the LAU Libraries invite you to attend the Jawdat Haydar Day, a special event dedicated to honoring the legacy of one of Lebanon’s most esteemed poets.

The event will feature the announcement and presentation of awards to the winning students of this year’s Jawdat Haydar Poetry Reading Competition. Faculty, students, staff and guests are all welcome.
