Bridging Academia and Community: Students Designing Solutions of Tomorrow

Auditorium of the Chagoury Health Sciences Center, Byblos campus

The event is an opportunity to showcase the hard work and creativity of students from the Civic Engagement for Engineers course (GNE 345).

Six student teams will showcase projects they have developed to offer practical solutions to tackle real challenges faced by the Bentael Natural Reserve.

What makes this initiative even more meaningful is that it aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goals 3, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 17.

The event serves as a platform to foster collaboration between the university, municipal leaders, and the broader community, showcasing the critical role of engineering in driving meaningful societal progress.
