SOE Synopsys International Microelectronics Olympiad 2025

For the second year in a row, the School of Engineering is organizing and hosting the Synopsis International Microelectronics Olympiad.
The event will bring together students from universities across Lebanon to compete in a rigorous exam that tests their knowledge in key areas, such as Digital IC Design and Test, Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design and Test, Semiconductor Devices and Technology, and the Mathematics and Algorithms used in Electronic Design Automation (EDA).
The winner of the first stage will be sponsored by Synopsys to represent Lebanon in the international finals, which will be held at Synopsys Armenia.
Additionally, the top three performers in the first stage will receive cash prizes of $2,000, $1,000, and $500, respectively, along with potential internship or job opportunities.
