Off Limits: A Civic Card Game on Child Marriage

The Arab Institute of Women invites to the launch of a civic card game on child marriage titled Offlimits, on Monday, October 27th 2025 starting 12:00 PM at the Faculty Lounge, Irwin Hall.
The Offlimits: Child Marriage Pack, is an educational card game co-developed with Commence Games that transforms complex political and social topics into an engaging and thought-provoking experience.
The game is part of Mish Waata – مش وقتها, a youth-led campaign that raises awareness against child marriage, supported by the British Council under the Governance Lab, in collaboration with the UN Global Compact Network Lebanon (UNGCNL) and Out of the Box.
In addition to the game launch, the event will include a panel discussion with guest speakers from LAU departments and various NGOs, offering diverse perspectives on the issue. The event will be followed by round tables simulation, where participants will have the opportunity to play the card game and engage in meaningful discussions.
