Diploma in Clinical Simulation

The LAU Clinical Simulation Center (CSC) at the Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine invites healthcare professionals to elevate their teaching practice through the Diploma in Clinical Simulation, a specialized program designed for educators eager to harness the full potential of simulation in Healthcare education.

This career-advancing diploma immerses participants in the science and art of simulation, from building high-impact clinical scenarios and conducting evidence-based debriefings to integrating AI-driven tools and technology-enhanced learning environments that mirror real-world patient care.

Learners will train within LAU’s state-of-the-art CSC, a cutting-edge, interprofessional ecosystem guided by leading academic and clinical experts.

Offered in collaboration with The National Health Education and Training in Simulation Program (NHET-Sim) at Monash University, Australia, the program brings global best practices directly to your learning experience.

Program Objectives

By completing the diploma, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate mastery of the learning theories and pedagogical frameworks that drive effective simulation-based education.
  • Design, implement and evaluate the effective simulation-based educational program tailored to specific health- professional contexts.
  • Integrate technology-enhanced and AI-supported environments to elevate clinical training and assessment.

Delivered through a series of dynamic modules led by local and international experts, the diploma uses a blended learning model combining online engagement with hands-on, immersive training at the LAU CSC in the Chagoury Health Sciences Center, LAU Byblos campus.

Dates:

  • Module 1: January 24 and February 28, 2026
  • Module 2: March 26, 27 and 28, 2026
