The Counseling Services at the the Office of the Dean of Students are hosting a webinar with Dr. Jeremy Alford, Psychologist and Founder of the Middle East Eating Disorders Association (MEEDA), to dive deep into the complexities of disordered eating, body image, and emotional resilience. This webinar is designed to give you the tools to navigate these challenges with confidence and compassion.

Objectives are to: 

  • Educate on Eating Disorders: raise awareness and recognize signs through interactive and reflective questions.
  • Boost Emotional Resilience: Focus on coping skills, mood intolerance, and body awareness.
  • Understand our Relationship with Food: Discuss hunger, normal eating, and food’s meaning.
  • Explore Mindset & Body Image: Address how food impacts body image.
  • Emphasize Prevention & Early Intervention: Emphasize early intervention for eating disorders.
  • Promote healthy habit changes and informed decisions.
