United in Action Symposium – Second Edition

Join us for the Second Edition of LAU’s United in Action Symposium titled From Classrooms to Practice Teams: Shaping the Future of Interprofessional Practice in Lebanon.

This edition brings together all the disciplines under the InterProfessional Education program (IPE) at LAU, as well as healthcare programs incorporating interprofessional education from universities throughout Lebanon. 

In a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and excellence in health professions and related programs education, this symposium reflects years of dedicated work to build, strengthen, and sustain meaningful interprofessional initiatives. From curriculum design, simulation activities and shared learning experiences to collaborative research and practice-based partnerships, it will serve as a space where educators, clinicians, and researchers come together not as separate disciplines or institutions, but as partners in a collective journey to exchange experiences, share stories, advocate for IPE and interprofessional collaborative practice, and advance scholarship in IPE.

With a strong commitment to interprofessional education, inspiration from the global call for collaborative practice championed by the World Health Organization, and in alignment with international efforts such as those of the Interprofessional Education Collaborative, the objective of this symposium is to prepare health professionals who learn with, from, and about one another to better serve patients and communities across Lebanon.
