In the current context in Lebanon, physicians, residents, and medical students are increasingly encountering symptoms such as anxiety, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, and emotional exhaustion that may reflect both pathology and normal responses to ongoing war and instability. This session will examine how uncertainty, collective stress, and moral distress shape clinical presentations, and when concern, diagnosis, or restraint is most appropriate. Through discussion, we aim to reflect on the boundaries between illness and adaptation in a population living under extraordinary circumstances.
