LAU Economic Policy Talk Series-Maurice Mattar
FREM 401 C - LAU Byblos campus or via Webex
The LAU economics graduates often work in leadership positions in government, the private sector and international organizations. In order to prepare them for the tasks they will have to carry out and the challenges they are likely to encounter after their studies, the LAU Department of Economics organizes the LAU Economic Policy Talk Series. This series focuses on how economic reasoning and tools are applied in policy-making and implementation. In each session, invited speakers involved in economic policymaking share their experiences and offer LAU Economics members insights from real-world cases, highlighting both the use and potential misuse of economics.
The contact person for the LAU Economic Policy Talk Series is Dr. Jamal Haidar.
