SoAS Honors Day 2026

LAU Byblos campus

This year’s Honors Day will feature graduate students showcasing the projects they have developed as part of their Honors Capstone course. A faculty jury will be evaluating the presentations and recognizing outstanding students during an awards ceremony.

1. Arrival and Rehearsal (Auditorium Gate)

  • 8:00 AM: Arrival and attendance (coffee and light refreshments served).
  • 8:15 AM – 9:30 AM: Mandatory rehearsal.

2. Ceremony Flow (Selina Korban Auditorium)

  • 09:30 AM: Guest seating.
  • 10:00 AM: Ceremony starts (remarks by Dean, Provost, and Honors team).
  • 10:15 AM: Certificate awarding on stage.
  • 11:00 AM: Group picture and cake celebration.

3. Transition and Lunch

  • 11:30 AM: Transition to LAU Research Day (Capstone posters).
  • 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch break at the Frem Open Area.
