School of Pharmacy White Coat Ceremony

The White Coat ceremony is a tradition that welcomes students into the first professional pharmacy year and marks their transition into the level of clinical coursework. The ceremony also fosters the significance of professionalism, commitment, integrity, and responsibilities to patients and society.

This formal event gathers the incoming students with their families and friends in the presence of School and University officials and faculty. Each pharmacy student is presented with their first white coat, and students recite the pledge of professionalism.
