Launching MARSAD: Monitoring Arab Regional Socioeconomic Advancement and Disparities

The Department of Economics at the Adnan Kassar School of Business is launching MARSAD – Monitoring Arab Regional Socioeconomic Advancement and Disparities, a data-driven research observatory focused on socioeconomic disparities in the Arab Mashreq.The launch will bring together scholars, researchers, and stakeholders to examine some of the region’s most pressing socioeconomic challenges through three thematic areas: inequality, poverty, and economic development.
Through keynote addresses and thematic panel discussions, the event will introduce MARSAD and provide a platform for examining these interconnected issues and advancing research and discussion around socioeconomic conditions in the Arab Mashreq.
