Discover the New Minor in Pharmaceutical Engineering

LAU Byblos campus, Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury Health Sciences Center, Auditorium

The School of Engineering and the School of Pharmacy invite you to an upcoming information session introducing the new Minor in Pharmaceutical Engineering.

This joint initiative offers an interdisciplinary pathway that combines engineering principles with pharmaceutical sciences to prepare you for high-impact careers in healthcare, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

About the Minor

  • 18 credits: two core courses, one from each school (CHE 200 and PHA 312), plus four electives of your choice
  • Open to Pharmacy and Chemical Engineering majors (students from other majors may request approval)
  • Builds skills in drug formulation, drug delivery systems, manufacturing, and quality control
  • Opens doors to pharmaceutical and biotech companies, regulatory agencies, and research institutions

The session will walk you through the courses, when they are offered, how to fit the minor into your study plan, and how to declare it. Faculty from both schools will be there to answer your questions.
