The Gender & Sexuality Club and the Civic Welfare Club in collaboration with KAFA will be discussing the civil personal status law and how it would enhance women’s rights if it were to replace the several personal status laws under the supervision of spiritual courts. It will be a constructive debate with real life examples with the guest speaker: Lawyer Leila Awada & Co-Founder of KAFA.
