Legislations on Violence Against Women in MENA Region

In conjunction with 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, the Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World is hosting a regional conference organized by IM Swedish Development Partner, Diakonia, and Norwegian People’s Aid titled: “Legislations on Violence Against Women in MENA Region”.

The conference will discuss civil society’s role in gender equality law reform over the past years, marking its success in Jordan, Lebanon, and Tunisia, and the purposeful ambitions ahead.

The conference is supported by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
