Imagine Spring Residency: The Actor and the Stage with Roger Assaf

Irwin Hall Auditorium, Beirut campus

The Imagine Workshop and Concert Series (IWCS) is organizing a workshop on The Actor and the Stage by renowned Lebanese playwright, director and actor Roger Assaf, as part of its Spring 2020 Residency: From Far Away.

The workshop is free of charge and open to the public.

Roger Assaf is a Lebanese playwright, director and actor. He co-founded the College of Arts in the Lebanese University and was also a co-founder of Theatre de Beyrouth. He established a hakawati house in 1979 and Dawwar el Chams Center aimed at promoting theater among the youth. Assaf has won numerous prizes for his works including the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2008.
