The Arab Network for Democratic Elections and the Department of Social Sciences at LAU’s School of Arts and Sciences are pleased to announce a two-part webinar series.
The first session will tackle the role of elections, electoral bodies, or electoral laws in helping old regimes restore their powers. Two cases will highlight the most prominent examples in which “elections” have been employed by the political elites to reinvent themselves and eliminate any opposition.
